Plant has aromatic scent and used as a decorative plant. Leaves are bitter and strong flavour that can be used in salads if chopped finely, meats, soups and stews. Essential oil used in perfumery. Very attractive to pollinators. .
Planting tip: Seed stratification is required for 2-4 weeks. Sow seeds 8-10 weeks before the last frost.Transplant out in the spring after the last frost.
Harvesting tip: Harvest the youngest leaves and stems as needed. Cut in the morning after the dew has dried for optimal flavor. Do not wash the leaves or aromatic oils will be lost.
