About the Donkey's Tail
These funky buddies are incredibly easy to get along with! They are a great low-maintenance houseplant for a home that gets bright natural light.
Light: Bright indirect light
Water: Allow the soil to dry out completely before watering. After watering, make sure the plant drains fully. Do not allow the plant to sit in water for more than an hour as this will cause root rot.
Difficulty: Easy
Feed: Apply half strength of cactus or general-purpose fertilizer once a month at most during the growing season. These are low maintenance plants and do not require a lot of supplementary feeding.
Air Purifying: Yes, known to remove formaldehyde from the air.
Toxicity: Non-toxic, pet-friendly.
Growth Rate: Slow growing.
