Also known as cornflower, is an annual flowering plant cherished for its vibrant, daisy-like blooms in shades of blue, pink, purple, and white. Flowers, measuring approximately 2 to 5 centimeters in diameter, are supported by slender stems and lanceolate leaves. A self-seeding bloom all season long, making them ideal for mass plantings and cut flower arrangements. Their edible petals add a splash of color to salads and desserts,and they are known to attract pollinators while being deer-resistant

Far from: Plants requiring consistently moist soil, Shade-loving plants.
Planting tip: Direct sow seeds in early spring, as soon as the soil can be worked (usually late April). Sow seeds ¼ inch deep in well-drained soil with full sun. Thin seedlings to 6-12 inches apart.
Harvesting tip: Harvest flowers when they are fully open. Regular deadheading encourages continuous blooming.
Storage tip: For dried flowers, hang stems upside down in a dark, dry, and well-ventilated area until completely dry. Store in airtight containers away from direct sunlight
