Variety from 1935, was introduced for true-blue flowers of forget-me-not. Selected for its scalloped petals that is eye-catching. Excellent for cut flower production as blooms in clusters. Deadhead often for blooms all summer long. Self-sowing.
Planting tip: Sow seeds indoors 3-4 weeks before last frost or sow directly outside after last frost. Successive sowing will results in long bloom period.
Harvesting tip: Prolong flowering time by keeping cosmos harvested regularly.Harvest when the buds are colored but haven’t opened up yet; this will keep insects from pollinating them and help stretch the vase life by a few more days.
