Beneficial Insect Flower Seed Mix
About the Beneficial Insect Flower Seed Mix BENEFICIAL INSECT FLOWER MIX | id:50522 | Ecologically grown | Annual/self-seeds | Open Pollinated Beneficial Insect Blend wildflower seeds were chosen for their ability to draw predatory insects like lacewings, hover flies, and ladybird beetles. These insects will naturally reduce pest species like aphids, thrips, and caterpillars in your garden if there is a healthy population of them there. Additionally, this mixture draws a variety of pollinators, increasing yields of fruiting plants like peas and peppers. The greatest overall strategy for promoting garden health and controlling the insects that cause the most glaring garden issues is to feed a healthy and diverse insect population. Planting tip: Make sure the field or bed area is weed-free. Distribute the mixture evenly throughout the area. To promote adequate seed-to-soil contact, lightly rake seeds and gently press them into the soil. The seed should be no more than 1/8″ deep. Keep the area wet to promote germination. Plant in the late spring, early summer, or late fall. Wait until the soil °T is too low to allow seed germination (below 4.4ºC) before planting in the fall.
