About the Lemon Cordatum Philodendron Lemon Cordatum Philodendron is a wonderful addition to any home. If you love lush foliage that will grow into a trailing vine, then this plant is perfect for you!    Light: Moderate to low indirect light Water: Allow the top half of soil to dry out before watering.  After watering, make sure the plant drains fully. Do not allow the plant to sit in water for more than an hour as this will cause root rot. Cordatums also benefit from the occasional misting. Your Cordatum's large leaves will accumulate dust overtime, which interferes with the flow of carbon dixoide into the plant and the resulting outflow of oxygen into the room. Clean the leaves by placing one hand under the leaf and with your other hand gently wipe the surface using a damp microfiber cloth. Keeping your plant regularly free of dust as part of your plant care routine is not only great for the plant, but also for you! Difficulty: Moderate Feed: Apply half strength of general-purpose fertilizer once a month at most during the growing season. Philodendrons are low maintenance plants and do not require a lot of supplementary feeding.  Air Purifying: Yes, known to remove formaldehyde from the air. Toxicity: Toxic to animals and humans. Growth Rate: Moderate Common Names: heart leaf philodendron, lemon lime philodendron Origin: Central and South America *Please note: Plants may not look exactly as shown. Please note that receiving a plant with a few split leaves already will be subject to availability.
